29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Authorized employee(s) did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control: a) Lift 1/Lift East: On or about September 24, 2024, the employer exposed employees to crushed-by hazards in that the employer did not train employees in the recognition of the types of energy associated with kinetic energy for rotating parts in elevator and the means necessary for energy isolation and control of kinetic and gravitational energy to prevent the unexpected movement when servicing and maintaining the equipment.
