29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system:  Employee(s) engaged in residential construction were exposed to fall hazards. This was most recently documented on or about October 1, 2024 at a construction jobsite located at or about 653 56th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska. Employee(s) were working on the roof of a residential structure. The employees were installing shingles while working at a height of approximately 8 feet 3 inches measured from the ground to eave without fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): The employer is exposing employees to fall hazards where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:   Employee(s) engaged in residential construction were exposed to fall hazards. This was most recently documented on or about October 1, 2024 at a construction jobsite located at or about 653 56th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska. Employee(s) were shingling a roof where a ladder was used by the employees that was not extended over the upper landing surface.
