OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. a) On or about September 24, 2024, at the Medical Pool D located at 6240 Sea Harbor Drive Orlando, FL 32821, animal trainers were exposed to the hazard of close contact with a killer whale during desensitization training. This hazard can result in death, fractures, or other injuries from being drowned, crushed, or bitten by the whale.
