29 CFR 1910.9(b):  Training. Standards in this part requiring training on hazards and related matters, such as standards requiring that employees receive training or that the employer train employees, provide training to employees, or institute or implement a training program, impose a separate compliance duty with respect to each employee covered by the requirement. The employer must train each affected employee in the manner required by the standard, and each failure to train an employee may be considered a separate violation.  The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by and entanglement hazards operating a Vermeer BC 1500 wood chipper.  Location: 130 Sasco Hill Terrace Fairfield, CT 06824  On or about October 1, 2024, employees were exposed to struck-by and entanglement hazards operating a Vermeer BC 1500 wood chipper when the winch rope was pulled into the knife drum entangled in brush striking and injuring the employees.
