Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system. a) Commercial bank located at 136 Highway 400 South, Dawsonville, GA 30534, Roof: On or about 10/01/2024, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 20 feet to the lower level, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees engaged in roof repair activities.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) Commercial bank located at 136 Highway 400 South, Dawsonville, GA 30534, Roof: On or about 10/01/2024, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet, 7 inches to the lower level, in that the ladder used to access the roof of the structure was not extended at least 3-feet above the upper landing surface.
