When an authorized government representative asks for the records you keep under Part 1904, you must provide copies of the records within four (4) business hours. a. On or about October 2, 2024, the employer failed to provide an authorized OSHA inspector with 301 or equivalent records kept under Part 1904 within four (4) business hours. U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard, 29 CFR 1904.40(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1755603, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 4, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 1605 Boggs Road, North Metro Georgia, Duluth, GA 30026. U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard, 29 CFR 1904.40(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1598883, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 2, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 7007 NE Cornfoot Road, Portland, OR 97218.
