29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation:   (a) On or about 10/02/2024 - Lot 85 Discovery Point Dr., Huntsville, AL, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards when operating framing nailers to nail down trusses and not wearing eye protection.  (b)  On or about 10/02/2024 - Lot 85 Discovery Point Dr., Huntsville, AL,  an employee was exposed to struck-by hazards when operating a handheld circular saw to cut plywood and not wearing eye protection.   Paul Gomez Galvan was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard  29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1743505, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 06/07/2024, with respect to a workplace located at 11820 Memorial Parkway SW, Huntsville, AL 35803.
