29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(3)(ii): The employer did not ensure that the employee used appropriate personal protective equipment when there was occupational exposure: (a) Graniteville Dental Solutions, 262 Boston Post Road, Waterford Rd., CT 06385, Disinfection Room; On or about October 3, 2024, and at times prior, employees were exposed to bloodborne pathogens when they were using common kitchen gloves to handle contaminated sharps. Gloves were not puncture resistant and had the potential to expose he employee to contamination if compromised.
