29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) Snyder's-Lance, Inc. located at 2041 Clermont Avenue, Ashland, Ohio, 44805: On or about September 19, 2024, the employer failed to ensure that the pinch point created between the running end of the Nedco conveyor belt and the framework of the conveyor were adequately guarded. In this condition employees working on or near the end of the Nedco conveyor were exposed to caught in hazards.
