29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(i): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail: Location: 3411 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City, NJ 07307. a: The employer failed to ensure that stairways employees were using were equipped with a handrail. During demolition activities, employees were exposed to fall hazards while using a stairway that was not equipped with a handrail. Violation occurred on or about October 2, 2024.
