29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer shall conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: A) Lanxess- 1020 King George Road, Fords, NJ 08863- On 09/28/24, periodic inspections were not conducted to ensure employee(s) performing shutdown procedures on the Ester1 R710 Steam Jet System and condensers (PFOR-E1-0034) followed the requirement of the standard and prevent the unexpected release of stored energy.
