29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1): Employer did not certify to OSHA, within 10 calendar days after the abatement date, that the cited violation had been abated: Location: 467 West Avenue, Norwalk, Connecticut Additional Abatement was not received within 10 calendar days (by 2/24/2025 ) following the abatement due date (2/14/2025); In accordance to Informal Settlement Agreement (ISA),fully executed on 1/30/2025, employer agreed to supply documentation showing that employees on the 467 West Avenue, Norwalk, CT worksite were trained in ladder safety. The employer will also work with a Safety Consultant to implement a disciplinary program for employees who choose not to follow safety rules. These abatements needed to be completed by 2/14/2025

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(22): Employees using ladders were carrying objects or loads that could cause them to lose balance and fall. On or about October 3, 2024, an employee fell approximately 12 feet from an extension ladder while climbing the ladder and carrying a gas-powered masonry cut-off saw.
