29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) 182 Central Ave., Seaside Park, NJ: Employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately twenty feet to the ground below. Two employees were engaged in framing duties while stepping on and out of the corner of the second floor framed building. Both employees were not protected by personal fall protection or any other means, to include barrier or rails. Observed on or about 10/07/24. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
