29 CFR  1910.95(c)(1): A continuing, effective hearing conservation program as described in 29 CFR 1910.95(c) through (n) was not instituted when employee noise exposures equaled or exceeded an 8 hour time weighted average sound level (TWA) of 85 dBA:  Elramida Holdings LLC. 56-15 55th Drive, Maspeth NY 11378  a) Glass sorting area- employees sorting glass bottles by hand were exposed to a continue noise level at 92.3%, 106%, 91.9% of the allowable 8-hour time weighted average sound level (80dBA).  The equivalent dBA level of 92.3% is 89.4 dBA, 106% is 90.4 dBA, and 91.9% is 89.3 dBA. The employer did not administer a continuing effective hearing conservation program, thus exposing employees to irreversible hearing loss, on or about 8/8/2024.  Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
