29 CFR 1926.501(b)(2)(i): Each employee who was constructing a leading edge 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) New Single-Family Residence, Second Level, Lot #52: On or about October 9, 2024, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, in that the employer did not ensure that the employees were wearing personal fall arrest systems and/or installed a guard rail system around unguarded sides and edges installing floor joist and forming the leading edge of the second floor at heights 10-feet, 10-inches to the ground below while conducting framing activities.
