29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):The employer did not ensure that each affected employee was using eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles. At a new multi-family worksite located at 2005 - 2011 E 35th St, KC MO -- employees were using pneumatic nail guns hanging drywall and not wearing eye protection. This exposed the employees to getting shrapnel and/or debris in their eyes. This was documented on or about 10/9/2024.

29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(v): Fork-lifts were used to support scaffold platforms while the entire platform was not attached to the fork and the fork-lift was moved horizontally while the platform was occupied: At a new multifamily worksite located at 2005 - 2011 E 35th St, KC MO -- the employer was using a JCB off road fork lift with a man-made box attached to raise employees up to hang drywall. This exposed the employees fall hazards in that the box was not specifically designed by the manufacturer for such use and not attached to the forks.. This was documented on or about 10/9/2024.
