29 CFR 1910.141(b)(1)(i): Potable water was not provided in all places of employment, for drinking, washing of the person, cooking, washing of foods, washing of cooking or eating utensils, washing of food preparation or processing premises, and personal. Security Gates: On and/or before October 10, 2024, and at times prior thereto, employees conducted security gates sentry tasks that involved being outside for extended period of time for up to 12 hours with temperatures reaching at or above 80 degrees Fahrenheit. There was no potable water provided for drinking during the work shifts at the following locations: a) Gate #2 b) Gate #4 This condition potentially exposed employees to dehydration and heat exposure hazards. The Provost Marshal's Office was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.141(b)(1)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1599917, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 28, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at building 1523, 11th Street, Camp Pendleton CA 92055.
