29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt was not worn nor a lanyard attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift: location: exterior perimeter of building on or about: 10/10/24 a) Employees were working at heights of up to 45 feet, from JLG aerial lifts. The employees did not have lanyards attached to the boom or basket. NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection casefile, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.
