29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(iv): There were damaged parts that may adversely affect safe operation or mechanical strength of electric equipment, such as parts that were broken, bent, cut or deteriorated by corrosion, chemical action, or overheating: On or about October 15, 2024, next to company man's trailer, employee(s) were utilizing a damaged electrical box with a panel that had been secured using duct tape and would not close on transformer labeled TRAN012, while conducting oil and gas activities. EnerStar Rentals & Services, LTD. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(iv), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1661828, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 30, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at Cactus Rig #168 4.5 mils N Direction from Pecos Pecos, TX 79772.
