29 CFR 1910.305(a)(2)(x): Flexible cords and cables were not protected from accidental damage, as might be caused, for example, by sharp corners, projections, and doorways or other pinch points: On or about October 15, 2024, in front of trailer 905, employees were using a blue (14-AWG) electrical extension cord to power an electric air fryer, while conducting oil and gas activities. Baker Hughes Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard (1910.305(a)(2)(x)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1737481, citation number 1, item number 1and was affirmed as a final order on (May 15, 2024), with respect to a workplace located at HP Rig #426 11.1 miles from Gardendale, TX, Andrews, TX 79714.
