29 CFR 1926.651(h)(1):Employees were working in excavations in which there was accumulated water, or excavations in which water was accumulating, and adequate precautions had not been taken to protect employees against the hazards posed by water accumulation. a) On the site located at 379001 14th Ave, Zephyrhills, FL: On or about 10/15/2024, the employer exposed employees to an engulfment hazard, in that, employees were working in an excavation that had water accumulating in it. There was a pump being used, but it was not removing the water in the work area fast enough to prevent it from accumulating.
