OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that the employees were exposed to struck by and crush by hazards and were permitted to ride as passengers on the articulating boom lift. Location: Transiting Highland Avenue, Chatham MA On or about October 10, 2024, employees were permitted to ride on the chassis of the Nifty, model SD64 articulating boom lift as passengers and were exposed to crushing and caught in hazards.
