29 CFR 1915.1026(d)(1):The employer with a workplace or work operation covered by this standard did not determine the 8-hour time-weighted average exposure for each employee exposed to chromium (VI): a) Welding area: Stainless steel welding: On or about October 22, 2024, and times prior thereto, the employer failed to determine the 8-hour time-weighted average exposure for each employee exposed to chromium (VI). An employee was exposed to hexavalent chromium at 3 micrograms per cubic meter which is approximately 1.2 times above the Action Level (AL) of 2.5 micrograms per cubic meter. Results were based on a 432-minute sampling period conducted. Exposure calculations included a zero increment for the 48-minute period not sampled.
