29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): (a) a. On or about October 16, 2024, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee performing residential roofing operations, nine (9) feet one (1) inches, above the ground, was not protected from falls, there by exposing the employee to fall hazards. b. On or about October 16, 2024, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing residential roofing operations, nineteen (19) feet two (2) inches, above the ground, were not protected from falls, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards. Victor Mejia was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1541574, citation number 1 , item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 18, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 200 North Macarthur Highway, Peoria, IL 61605.
