29 CFR 1910.151(c):Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: (a) National Grinding Service, LLC, coolant diluting room; On or about October 21, 2024, and at times prior, employees were exposed to eye injury in that they mix and dilute TRIM� MicroSol� 690XT, a corrosive coolant, in the dilution room without access to a facility suitable for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes in the event of splash or spill.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1):Employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program that included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii): National Grinding Service, LLC, 95 Whiting Street, Plainville, CT 06062; On or about October 21, 2024, and at times prior, the employer had not implemented a written hazard communication program to employees exposed to TRIM� MicroSol� 690XT coolant and Master STAGES? RPO 6BF rust preventative. Exposure to these chemicals can cause skin irritation, eye irritation, flammable hazards, and fatality if swallowed.
