The path to ground from circuits, equipment, and enclosures was not permanent and continuous: location: pool area on or about: 10/16/24 a) Employees were using an extension cord to power electrical equipment, including a miter saw. The extension cord was missing the grounding pin. NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection casefile, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: location: pool area on or about: 10/16/24 a) Employees were using a miter saw that had a new male end attached. The cord did not have adequate strain relief. The newly attached end pulled away from the outer sheath. NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection casefile, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.
