29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: a) Worksite was located at 10 Vroom Avenue, Spring Lake, NJ 07762 Multiple workers were exposed to fall hazards of approximately ten feet and greater as they were observed working on installing a new roof for a one-story single family residence while not tied off. Violation was observed on or about October 21, 2024 RJ Roofing and Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1664259, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/02/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 83 Quincy Street, Passaic, NJ 07055.
