29 CFR 1910.1001(j)(7)(iv): The employer did not provide to all employees who perform housekeeping work in areas where ACM and/or PACM is present, an asbestos awareness training course containing at a minimum the following elements: the health effects of asbestos, locations of ACM and PACM, recognition of ACM and PACM damage and deterioration, requirements in this standard related to housekeeping, and proper response to fiber release episodes: a) On or about September 12, 2024, the employer did not ensure employees who performed housekeeping work in the facility were provided with asbestos awareness training as required by the standard while working in a facility with asbestos containing materials in multiple areas of the facility, including a hallway that they passed through multiple times per day.
