OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that they were exposed to struck-by and crushing hazards from the Hydraulic lifts not being inspected and maintained properly. a) Establishment, Repair bays: On or about October 23, 2024, employees were operating the automotive Hydraulic lifts, Omer Model # RED 10-20h-33, that were not inspected since 5/27/23. The Omer hydraulic lift in bay 2 also had loose nuts anchoring the bolts of hydraulic lift to the floor.
