29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1): The employer did not establish a program consisting of an energy control procedure, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performed any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment shall be isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative. a) 2014 Single Tree Lane, Lancaster, PA 17602 - Employees were performing service and maintenance activities including, but not limited to, setup on equipment including, but not limited to, CNC machines, surface grinders, lathes, and saws for metal fabrication activities, and the employer not establishing a hazardous energy control program, on or about October 24, 2024. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
