29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment.  a) On or about October 23, 2024, in the basement laundry area, the employer did not ensure a thirty-six (36) inch clearance pathway to electrical breaker panel. Laundry bags and laundry plastic containers were positioned in front of the electrical panel, there-by exposing employees to electrical hazards.

29 CFR  1910.1200(e)(1): The?employer did?not develop,?implement, and/or?maintain at?the workplace?a written?hazard communication?program which?describes how?the criteria?specified in?29 CFR?1910.1200(f), (g),?and (h)?will be?met:   a. On?or about October 23, 2024, in the facility, the employer failed to develop and implement a written hazard communication program in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1).  Employees were required to work with corrosive chemicals like Ultra Neusoft Fabric Neutralizer and Softner and, Sonichlor Chlorinated Laundry Destainer. Employee exposure included, but not limited to:  1) Requirements for labeling of containers of hazardous chemicals. 2) Training of employees. 3) A complete list of hazardous chemicals known to be present in the workplace. 4) Methods to inform employees of the hazards on non-routine tasks; and 5) Methods to inform other employer(s) of material safety data sheet availability; the labelling system and any precautionary measures to protect employees.
