29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i): The employer did not select and have each affected employee use, the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employees from the hazards identified in the hazard assessment: (a)Berry Global, Inc. at 1800 North M Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD 57104: On or about and at times prior to October 22, 2024, the employer did not select and have each employee opening the swing gate of the Agglomeration Catcher on the 801 Reprocessing Line use personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employees' hands, arms and torso from burn hazards in the event of hot slurry exiting through the swing gate. This condition exposed employees to burn hazards.

This condition exposed employees to burn hazards.
