29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i):The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l): a) Comfort Systems USA; on or about October 17, 2024, at the address of 2387 Harding HWY Marion, OH. The employer did not ensure employees were adequately trained to operate a powered industrial truck through completion of training and evaluation prior to operating the vehicle. Without the benefit of this training, the operator utilizing a Hyster 50 LP powered truck was exposed to hazards such as but not limited to crush-by hazards.
