29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  a) 3590 Coles Ave.,Franklinville, NJ: Employees were exposed to a fall hazard of up to twenty feet to the ground below. Four employees were observed on a 5:12 pitched roof at approximately twenty five feet with another employee on a 5:12 pitched roof at ten to thirteen feet. The employees were installing a new roof and none of the employees were protected by personal fall protection. Observed on or about 10/25/24.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.
