29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a. On or about October 21, 2024, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing residential roofing operations, Fifteen (15) feet five (5) inches, above the ground, were not protected from falls, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards. b. On or about October 21, 2024, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing residential garage roofing operations, eight (8) feet four (4) inches, above the ground, were not protected from falls, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards. Reyna Construction L.L.C. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1604931, citation number 1 item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on September 1, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 2554 & 2558 West Lake Ave, Glenview, IL. Reyna Construction L.L.C. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1678417, citation number 2 item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on December 5, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 553 Cobblestone Lane, Buffalo Grove, IL.
