29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2):Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling: a) Paint Shop: The employer allowed employees to use a relocatable power tap (RPT) connected in series with an extension cord and not to a permanently installed branch circuit to energize (120 V) a microwave oven thereby not using the relocatable power tap in accordance with its listing and labeling, thus exposing employees to electrical and fire hazards. This condition was observed on or about October 30, 2024. NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASE FILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.
