29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):The ladder extension was positioned such that deflection under a load, by itself, would cause the ladder to slip off its support: a) 11790 Harrison St., Thornton CO: On or about October 29, 2024, and at times prior, employees were exposed to falls of approximately 8 feet to the ground below while accessing/egressing upper levels of the existing residential home. The ladders were not secured at their top to a rigid support, and a grasping device, such as a grabrail, was not provided to assist employees in mounting and dismounting the ladders.
