Examples of guarding methods are-barrier guards, two-hand tripping devices, electronic safety devices, etc. On or about October 25, 2024, in the shop area; employee(s) utilized a Cincinnati Press Brake without point of operation guards while conducting forming activities.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(iii): Special hand tools for placing and removing material were not provided to permit easy handling of material without the operator placing a hand in the danger zone: On or about October 25, 2024, in the shop area; employee(s) were operating a Cincinnati Press Brake without adequate guards while conducting work activities on smaller stock. The light curtain system was also disabled on this press brake.
