1910.1026(d)(2)(vi) The employer did not perform additional monitoring when there had been a change in the production process, raw materials, equipment, personnel, work practices, or control methods that resulted or may have resulted in new or additional exposures to chromium (VI), or when the employer had any reason to believe that new or additional exposures had occurred: a) The employer had not conducted an initial exposure assessment for welders who weld on stainless steel, on or about November 5, 2024. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
