29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11):"Steep roofs." Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toe boards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Roof: Each employee was not protected from falling as required. Employees engage in roofing activities were not utilizing personal fall arrest system at the time of the accident. An employee fell from the roof to the chain link fence approximately 25 feet, on or about 11/5/24.
