29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access. (a) East end: Werner 20-feet extension ladder, No model number and serial number could be recognized, at the rear of the house. Employees were exposed to 20-feet fall hazard. (b) North end: Werner 16-feet extension ladders at side of the house. No model number and serial number could be recognized. Employees were exposed to 10-feet fall hazard. (c) West end: Werner 16-feet extension ladders at side of the house. No model number and serial number could be recognized. Employees were exposed to 10-feet fall hazard.
