Montana Ave. Helena, MT 59601: On or about November 6, 2024, and at times prior, employees were exposed to chemical hazards while using chemicals including, but not limited to Naphtha (petroleum) Heavy Alkylate (Tire Shine), and acetone (brake cleaner) to perform diesel mechanic work and detailing. The employer failed to ensure that employees were properly trained on the hazards of the chemicals they were using . b. 1514 N. Montana Ave. Helena, MT 59601: On or about November 6, 2024, and at times prior, employees were exposed to chemical hazards while using chemicals including, but not limited to Naphtha (petroleum) Heavy Alkylate (Tire Shine), and acetone (brake cleaner) to perform diesel mechanic work and detailing. The employer failed to ensure that chemicals throughout the shop were labeled with hazard descriptions or other forms of warnings. c. 1514 N. Montana Ave. Helena, MT 59601: On or about November 6, 2024, and at times prior, employees were exposed to chemical hazards while using chemicals including, but not limited to Naphtha (petroleum) Heavy Alkylate (Tire Shine), and acetone (brake cleaner) to perform diesel mechanic work and detailing. The employer failed to ensure that all chemicals used in the facility had their corresponding safety data sheets available for review.
