The Roof - On or about November 6, 2024, employees were framing the roof of an expansion of the existing structure. The employees did not have a safe means of access and egress as they had been using a forklift that was not always in the raised position and did not have fall protection to safely and reliably constitute safe access and egress or a means as prescribed by this standard. The employees working at heights greater than 6 feet were not trained to recognize and mitigate fall hazards at the jobsite. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
