29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees were not protected by protective helmets while working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns: On or about November 6, 2024, The employer as the controlling contractor had a subcontractor exposed to the hazard of being struck in the head by falling materials and tools, on a construction site in Mahomet, Illinois, and was not required to wear a hard hat while working underneath employees performing construction activities.
