29 CFR  1910.133(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation:   a) United Auto Recycling Inc.- Throughout the building and yard area:  The employer did not ensure that employees were wearing safety glasses to protect them from eye injuries caused by flying particles, including but not limited to dust and metal fragments when conducting activities, such as, but not limited to, dismantling vehicles.  Observed on or about 11/06/2024.  b) United Auto Recycling Inc.- Throughout the building and yard area:  The employer did not ensure that employees wore safety goggles  when draining chemicals from vehicles mounted on elevated surfaces to protect against splash hazards to the eyes from chemicals such as, but not limited to gasoline and oils. Observed on or about 11/06/2024.
