29 CFR 1910.106(f)(6): Category 1 or 2 flammable liquids, or Category 3 flammable liquids with a flashpoint below 100 �F (37.8 �C), were handled, drawn, or dispensed where flammable vapors may reach a source of ignition: (a) Food Grade Packaging Building - The local exhaust ventilation (LEV) system used to capture flammable vapors during tapping of Class 2 flammable liquids (including but not limited to acetone and isopropyl alcohol 99%) included PVC ductwork, which cannot dissipate static charges, creating an ignition source, on or about November 7, 2024. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and state employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and state employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
