29 CFR 1910.303(b)(8)(i): Electric equipment shall be firmly secured to the surface on which it is mounted. Note to paragraph (b)(8)(i) of this section: Wooden plugs driven into holes in masonry, concrete, plaster, or similar materials are not considered secure means of fastening electric equipment. On or about November 7, 2024, the employer did not ensure 110/120 volt electrical on/off switches and switch boxes of the maintenance cage lubricant/hydraulic oil filling station pumps were firmly secured or mounted to frame or other surface of the filling station, exposing employees to electric shock hazards when operating the switches. The electric pump on/off switches and switch boxes were lying unsecured in or near wet locations on filling station pump drip pan racks.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6):Workplace labeling. Except as provided in paragraphs (f)(7) and (f)(8) of this section, the employer shall ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace is labeled, tagged or marked with either: On or about November 7, 2024, the employer did not ensure each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace were labeled, tagged, and/or marked with at least general information, to provide employees with effective information on the hazards of the chemicals. Chemicals used in the workplace by employees include corrosion inhibitors, such as Anticorit OL 8000, machine lubricants, such as Mighty Lube Type ML, and greases, such as EP 2 grease.
