Sources of ignition may include open flames, lightning, smoking, hot surfaces, frictional heat, sparks (static, electrical, and mechanical), spontaneous ignition, chemical and physical-chemical reactions, and radiant heat. a. Electrical room on the northeast side of the building: On or about 11/12/2024, the employer stored multiple cylinders of liquid propane gas that gave off an odor identifying potential leaking in the electrical room with an open unguarded circuit breaker panel.
