29 CFR 1910.147(f)(1)(ii): Employees were not removed from the machine or equipment area in accordance with paragraph (e)(2) of this section during testing or positioning of machines, equipment or components thereof. a) For the indoor conveyor area upper level, on or about 11/12/2024, the employer exposed employees to amputation hazards, in that, rotating belts and pulleys with ingoing nip points were not guarded during and after testing/positioning of the parts. The rotating parts were located approximately 17 inches from where employees walked/worked.
