29 CFR 1928.57(a)(7): The employer did not protect employees from coming into contact with hazards created by moving machinery parts as follows: a) At Fowler Brothers, Inc., 10273 Lummisville Road, Wolcott, NY - Bin Repair Area. On or about November 12, 2024, workers were exposed to moving parts when permitted to operate a Hitachi Table Saw which was not equipped with a guard to protect against contact with the blade. The employer did not ensure moving parts of the machinery were guarded, resulting in an amputation of an employee's fingertips.
